From vines planted in 1982 and 1987

100% hand-picked since 2010
The wine is made with a blend of 2 plots located at the border between the villages of Chaintré and Fuissé. Silty limestone soils. The fields are East-facing with an altitude of 320 m
100% Organic (certification on progress). Grounds are
ploughed under the vine stock. A natural cover planting is hold in every rows. In order to encourage the development of life in our grounds, we only use mineral essences sometimes associated with herbs and plants preparation.
Winemaking
Slow pressing. Cold fermentation with only native yeast. The
malolactic fermentation is always carried out. Aged in steel tank on fine lees during 20 months; Light filtration just before the bottling.
Tasting Note
Our Mâcon-Fuissé Vers Chanes opens on scents of golden fruit, citrus, peaches and minerality. It’s definitly a crispy and juicy wine, fleshy with a nice density. The tension og the wine brings minerality and we love its refreshing and thirst-making finish!
