2019 Ried Goldberg 1Ötw Riesling

Ried Goldberg is created on hills which slop towards the Danube Valley, where mighty löss soils build the foundation for this wine. This Riesling on this field grows on a dry and hot Southern slope and the grapes are pressed whole.
The wine ferments spontaneously in stainless steel tanks, like DIWALD's other wines. The spontaneous fermentation of the wine means that DIWALD's close relation with nature allows them to interfere as little as possible in the cellar. They remain their until the Summer.
This Riesling has a robust body with a warmer style. Notes of citrus vibrate in the background and in the foreground, more exotic notes appear. The acidity keeps it wonderfully crisp.
Preferred drinking temperature is 8 to 10 degrees.
Optimum drinking years are between 2019 and 2029.
