Viticulture
The vines originate from limestone-rich locations, such as Morstein in Höllenbrand and Himmelacker in Rheinhessen, Germany. The grapes are harvested at different times of ripeness so that it always appears fresh and lively.
Winemaking
The winemaking takes place in a classic way with mash fermentation and storage in wooden barrels.
Tasting Note
A clear sense of cherry and forest fruits, which becomes more aromatic with air. The wine is dry in the mouth, but this dryness is accompanies with a juicy, velvety tannin structure.
